Last Sunday was Father's Day and were the fathers across the country put quite pampered. The Atlantic Wall Museum Scheveningen celebrated this day with The Hague Boat. Father with love of history could indulge in a unique trip where the history of The Hague was told during the war years. How the city looked before and during the occupation? What survived among the residents of the city? How the lives of the occupiers looked at one of the many bunkers that knows our city?
The group was received at the Mauritskade. From there we sailed in a boat sold by the city of The Hague, via the Westbroekpark to the museum at the Badhuisweg in Scheveningen, where all aspects of the Hague war were visible. All in all a memorable father-perception of history, city and nature!
The Atlantic Wall Museum Scheveningen works continuously to special and honorable experience of the Atlantic heritage. Curious about our events or would like us to organize something unique? Follow us on Facebook or take contactus.
